In order to serve the best interest of our members, rules have been adopted to promote efficiency of operation and fairness to all. The following is a list of plan room rules and regulations for NEPCA members and also F.W. Dodge members to adhere to.

1. Plan Room hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays. The plan room is only for the use of NEPCA Members and F.W. Dodge Members.

2. The Plan Room in a Non-Smoking area.

3. ALL ESTIMATORS MUST REGISTER UPON ENTERING THE PLAN ROOM and sign for each project they are taking for use. Please only use one project at a time and limit your activities to one table. When finished, please erase all marks, checks or figures from the project.

4. Do not leave plans idle at any time, including the lunch hour. When using the Plan Room, please limit your telephone use to business calls only.

5. Please handle all plans and specs carefully to prevent damage. Any repairs needed should be brought to the attention of the NEPCA Office Staff. If plans and specifications are disassembled for your use, please be courteous to the other members and put them back together after you are through. Also, please place the plans and specs back on the shelf or rack where it belongs.

6. Plans and specifications may not be taken from the building during normal office hours and may not be reserved for use during the day. You may reserve plans and specs for overnight use or weekend use with NEPCA’s Office Staff. Plans and specs may be picked up during the office hours of 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., provided they are not in use at the time of pick-up. They must be returned by 8:00 a.m. the next regular business day.

7. For the courtesy of the other members, if your schedule may change and it will not be necessary to take out plans and specs for overnight use, please call our office and cancel your reservation(s). This will allow someone else and opportunity to use them.

8. Blue Prints will not be reproduced after 3:30 p.m. NEPCA will take orders for plans and specs. They will be ready for you the next working day, following the placement of your order. (Some exceptions may apply occasionally for the copying of a few plans sheets during the day.) However, should your plans and specs become available sooner than the next day, we will notify you. We will also notify you if there will be a delay, due to the machine breaking down, inclement weather, etc. . .

9. When referring a contractor to the Plan Room, be sure to advise them that they must be a member of NEPCA or F.W. Dodge to use the facilities.
